LBP Smoothie
LBP smoothie…
…aka lemon + banana + pear smoothie!
I recently read about Reese Witherspoon’s everyday green smoothie & was inspired. I’ll share that recipe at a later time but the inspo was she uses a full lemon & pear in the smoothie.
So our fruit bowl has been filled with lemons & pears ever since.
And I honestly am SO glad I tried a lemon in my smoothie because now I’m adding one to all of my smoothies.
Lemons are good for digestion, skin, vitamin C, hydration, & weight loss.
THE RECIPE
1 lemon + 1 pear + 1 banana + 2 cups coconut water
Blend all of the ingredients! It’s super easy. And very creamy.
I like to cut up bananas & freeze them in baggies so they are ready to go for smoothies. I also have started loving coconut water instead of almond milk. This Trader Joe’s one is a good price & can make 2-3 smoothies.
You can also add 1/2 cup of blueberries to this same recipe which is also delicious. Less creamy, more tart.
This LBP smoothie is my “fave” of the week & I highly recommend trying it! If you’re like me you’ll start adding lemons to all of your smoothies ;)
