Purple Smoothie
Tuesday 2:43 PM - currently sippin’ on this smoothie.
It’s very similar to the pineapple + spinach smoothie with a couple differences. I personally like this one better!
THE RECIPE
+ 1 banana
+ 1/2 cup blueberries
+ 1/2 cup spinach
+ 10 oz coconut water
HOW TO
To state the obvious…
Blend all of the ingredients.
BENEFITS
Blueberries have a ton of antioxidants and are high in nutrients - both of which help protect your body from aging and diseases.
Spinach is rich in vitamins & has a ton of health function benefits.
Bananas have vitamin C and potassium.
Coconut water is super hydrating with electrolytes.
All of these are excellent fresh fruits & veggies to put in your body for energy + health + supporting your immune system.
TIPS
Add ice or a frozen banana if you want it extra cold!
I definitely recommend coconut water with this one instead of almond milk.
I used frozen blueberries & a fresh banana + spinach.
